Sea Ray is, and always has been, the leader in quality express cruisers. The owner of this vessel has spared no expense on upgrading her for long range cruising, but circumstances have changed and his health forces her sale. This year alone, he spent over $10,000.00 in upgrades to the love of his life. The Sea Ray 390 Express is one of the most popular models that was offered by Sea Ray. The 390 Express model was later re-named the 420 Express with no changes to the hull at all. Her sleek lines and European styling make a lasting impression whenever you pull into a marina.

She has an expansive 2-stateroom interior that is arranged with a queen sized berth forward with her own color TV, and A/C unit. She was designed with a unique guest stateroom that is separated from the salon by a mirrored bulkhead that will slide into a wall pocket making the stateroom into a neat breakfast bar. She sport a complete galley that is truly a functional galley with a large refrigerator, microwave, and a large stove with a cutting board top. The salon has over 6' in headroom, and a very large and comfortable "L" shaped couch, and a large moveable table with fold-down leafs for dining. Her enclosed Vac-U-Flush head has a full sized shower that even a super-sized Captain can fit into. Across from the couch is her entertainment center that has been upgraded with a brand new swivel-mounted 23" flat screen TV and digital antenna, and a new Blue-Ray DVD player. She has a HD Sony sound system that will rock your world in the cabin, or the cockpit! This summer the owner removed the fresh water tank und upgraded it with a custom built 150 gallon tank, and installed new marine carpeting in the salon. The salon A/C unit and the water circulator pump are new, and the two A/C units keep the boat cool in the hottest NC weather, as well as warm as toast in the winter. All of her cabin lights were replaced, bilge pumps were upgraded, a new diving ladder was installed, and a range increasing cell phone repeater was added as was a new VHF Radio with DSC.

The cockpit and helm upholstery were new 2 seasons ago and still look great. The owner had all of the old side panels removed and replaced them with Starboard so they will look great forever with little or no upkeep. The Teak cockpit trim was refinished, and a ships flag pole was added this summer, as well as the deck Teak was epoxied. All of the windshield, hatches, windows, as well as the bow rail thru-hull attachments were re-bedded with 5200 sealant.

This summer she was pulled out of the water, her hull was soda blasted, barrier coated and 2 coats of bottom painted were done. Her shaft bushings were replaced, her shaft log was rebuilt and re-packed, and all of her thru-hull valves were rebuilt or replaced and there hoses were replaced with new high pressure/high temp hoses. Her zincs were done and the bonding wiring all tested. While she was high and dry, all of the engine cooling hosed from the strainers to the heat exchangers were replaced, as well as the heat exchangers themselves.

Her twin 454 V-8 engines were upgraded to 365hp versions 3 years ago and have about 200 hours on them and about 400 hours on the entire boat, and the same on the genset. They have had the oil and filters changed at the beginning and the end of both seasons. The battery charger was replaced this August with a 6 bank commercial charger, and the batteries were also replaced. The canvas was re-stitched this summer as well as new primary helm canvas was installed.

This boat runs perfect and is a pleasure to use. She is roomy and comfortable, and makes a perfect condo at the beach. The best part of a yacht condo is you can move it if you don't like your neighbors. This is a chance for you to get a great boat at a fraction of its market value. The owner has paid more in upgrades that you are buying the boat for, Don't hesitate as the market improves, the price goes up. Buy now and save.
